:O Death of the I-pod battery

:O Today my i-pod decided to run out of battery and so I have been reduced to Weatherhead's user shared area!!!

Although there is a lot of music on here most of it is pants so I won't even bother to bore you with it.

INSTEADD... music i have been able to get hold of today includes:

Cascada - what do you want from me
Don't ask really. It's like a guilty pleasure. I know its really awful but I think she's alright. Must be 30 odd now surely :S Had the same hair for years as well. This song I find ironic ... if you know me you'll prob get that, but it's ok. Thumpy :/

Biffy clyro - elephants
OMG OMG OMG I really love this band!! There is not a single song I've heard them play that I don't adore. And there b-sides are just great songs anyway.

Foo Fighters- Long road to ruin
Seam like gen rally nice guys. Would be a laugh to hang around with them. Whenever something new is released I buzz for a while then just won't listen to them again for ages ... until they appear on shuffle :P The video for this is also fun.

Paramore- that's what you get
I don't understand the obsession with Hayley Williams... so what she has red hair :O I had red hair at one point... Miss it being red but it's so hard to keep... ANYway. She has a great voice. Would love to be able to sing like that. Nice pop punk without being Avril Lavigne who is also fine by me (Y)

The zutons - give me a reason
I went to see these live with my friends J N and my sister H. They wer soooo good. The woman dances around looking silly but every band needs one of them and it's weird when they all do it. Really gutted they split up but they wern't doing much anyway. Would be nice to see more of them in the future (Y)

Lily Allen - not fair
OMG She is so false and full of herself! Like really! Doesn't even sound like she's singing properly... and I doubt she writes all her own songs. Just gets drunk and wears silly wigs these days. I think fame has gone to her head and she's so snooty about it. This song completely gets stuck in my head in the mornings farr too often. She should go shush... but I know I'll keep listening if she keeps generating more.

Yeah if you've read any of what I have to say I welcome comments. Debates on music always entertain me... especially with my friend L who has an even worse taste in music than myself, yet she won't admit it! :P She knows I love her really

It's funny how when your in a particular mood the music you listen to reflects it. For example when I'm feeling particularly empowered I listen to some feel good James Morrison! Some of the lyrics can be a bit depressing if your really listen 'I've been down so low, People look at me and they know, They can tell something is wrong, Like I don't belong' but there is an oomph in this song that just says yes. 'I'm not lost, just undiscovered' is one of those lyrics that really gets me. Does everyone like to link lyrics to themselves? I just love James Morrison. NO1 should ever say bad things about him or his music... well he is a bit odd looking but that's about it.

What started my thoughts on this you may wonder?

Well I was listening to a bit of James Blunt (all the James' are out today) and his lyrics are well... depressing. And I thought to myself. Why am I sitting here working myself up with some really needy bloke playing? :S Anyway!! Music swiftly changed when I realized this. Instead I found my less sad play list and things were fine. HAHA

ANNNYWWAAYYY
I promised a chart show rant and I will limit myself to the top 10 so here goes...

Jason Derulo - In My Head
I'm not phased by this song in the slightest. I'm sure it will grow on my as it is played more and more. But for now it's not 'In My Head' badumbumtish!! Ok bad joke I get that I'm not funny :P anyway... not got much to say on this now it'll probably pop up again.

Florence/Dizzee Rascal - You Got The Dirtee Love
Oh this is a grower!! I really like this. When they were an the brits just loved it. She's really awesome and reminds me of a red headed friend who is just a younger version of her. I wonder who the machine is though. I heard that the machine is the name of the band that writes her songs even though she tours with her own band. Kinda odd and doesn't make much sense but owel. Dizzee Rascal is just the lovable little brother.. just think 'awwhh' i don't quiet know why. I like him and I'm sure hes going to keep producing floor filler after floor filler.

Rihanna - Rude Boy
I Know many people find her annoying and she is a very scary woman. After the whole Chris Brown thing it's like she played up for it. All her hair is gone and shes surrounded by darkness and general ahh. Shes clearly pushing this 'I'm going to be strong because I was hurt' thing and fair enough but I miss 'SOS' Rihanna. Where she was young and carefree the music was good. The music is still good however I prefer the dance remix of this. There's just more to it. Otherwise it's a bit annoying. AND She doesn't half repeat herself in all her songs. Can she only learn a certain amount of words at a time? Or is it a way around writers block? :S

Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed
Like this a lot. We will see good things of her in the coming months! I wasn't expecting her to look like what she does though. I don't know why. I like the song and I like her. Look forward to more.

Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind (Part II)
Amazing voice!! But HOW MANY TIMES can you release the same song! HAHA
OK we get that your from New York... now what?

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss
This was in my head all of Friday. There are no original members of the Sugababes left :S Should they not re-name themselves? Technically there not the Sugababes anymore. My favorite combination was the ones that did 'Round Round'

Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts
Hmm it's nice that their trying to help... really I want to help. But I don't want to own this song. Could they not have picked something a bit more... uplifting? I hate that. I suppose it's like the point I made at the start of this about listening to music that suits the mood. Ahh well I hope they can help!

JLS - One Shot
These guys seam so nice! I have two friends that would fit very nicely into this band and they know it! Even funnier, when I mentioned this to them both separately they did *very well I might add* the beat again dance. HAHA It's odd how they had a single out properly before Alexandra Burke even though she won. Shows you don't need to win these competitions to make it. Suppose the cheeky girls were more proof of that. AND they didn't even get through.Like this song, like them. But if they want two more members they should seriously look up M + C!!!

Yeah I am fairly happy with this weeks chart. Could have been a lot worse.

First on my hitlist

I got asked to write a blog about anything and the mind does wander.
'Anything you say?'
'Yes anything... as long as it doesn't violate personal information and privacy etc etc'
'Well... that changes everything' HAHA.
So I think think to myself,
'What is there I have a lot to say about?'
Well I wouldn't say I was political and my hobbies about to 0 these days... one thing keeping me sane in my work load is music *Bing*. It is know among all who know me that my music taste... is well awful. But I like it and there are other people who do too!! Otherwise it wouldn't be known as POP - Popular?

I am going to discuss the in's and out's of my music collection. A general rant about how I know the music is awful yet *as many others clearly agree* love it so.

First on my hit list is Katy Perry!

No matter how irritating she may be her album ROCKS!! Not only is she a FAB singer but her songs are funny yet make sense. 'Your not a man, your just a mannequin' How many of them do you know? Well I personally know many. Girls seams to be able to open up a lot more in that sense. I heard one that she never wears the same outfit more than once. :O What a waste. Her outfits are cool as but if we were friends her hand me downs wouldn't be priority. I regularly borrow friends clothes because I get very bored of my wardrobe yet it wouldn't be hard to turn hers down. There so WOW, noway could someone else get away with their reappearance.

ANNYYWAYYY the music.

Catchy lyrics. I don't know about you but 'Hot and Cold' stays in my head for days!! I like the actions invented too.. its a real floor filler. 'One Of The Boys' is another song I can relate to, having been the only girl in a group of lads you do become less female. I think at this point I forced pink upon myself in an attempt to cling to femininity. 'I Kissed A Girl' What a statement to make entering the charts HEY. Shes full of Oomph! 'Waking Up In Vegas' sounds strangely exciting. The aftermath might include a divorce and the loss of all money and keys... but what a night but that have been. I wonder where the inspiration came for this song.
Katy and Russel Brand to be married? I like this. There both nuts tbh. Good match but unexpected.

Anyway awesome album! I recommend you give it a try! Can honestly say I know every word. <3>

This afternoons chart show will undoubtedly be added to his. For know this album gets full approval! (Y)

(8) I'm leaving my fingerprint on you (8)
